I saw the pocket journals pop up and immediately fell in love with the beautiful, self-illustrated covers. When I read about the idea behind Offline Time and the pocket journals, I wanted to use them for the same purpose. It is a nice idea not to have to work perfectly in these journals, but instead to consciously take a moment every day (if possible) to open the notebook and just be creative. The contact with Süreya is also great! She is very approachable for a friendly chat and sharing experiences about our development as illustrators. And even when the mail order company didn’t deliver the package, she resolved it immediately in a pleasant way! I sometimes pause my subscription and buy a different volume separately. I usually use pencil or fineliner, but ink or watercolor also works (it can sometimes show through a bit).
